Sorry for not being around...
had Podiatrist and orthopedic appointments.
shifting off crutches to just the frankenboot from the surgery now and the ortho doc says he wants to target next spring/early summer for the knee replacement.
in the mean time, the pain from putting all my weight on it (and off the Achilles on the opposite) has been pure AGONY! pain into a realm I hadn't known in a long time.

Diet followed reasonably well.
