I am joining fat secret because all of the people I have met on the atkins website who have recommended it so highly. That group is keeping me energized and in control. In fact, it has become very important to me to check in with this group daily to maintain a feeling of being supported and being a part of a group of friends who have a common goal.
Although my local friends are not unsupportive, they are either thin or comfortable with being overweight. I was outgrowing a size 16 and hate the way I look. I am not comfortable with my appearance, my clothes don't fit, and I didn't feel particulary well either. At my age this is my last chance to not become a hugely fat old lady with health problems. I have to stick to this and make it work before I do permanent damage. I am very annoyed with myslef that I have let myslef go like this
Just 2 years ago I was at a semi acceptable weight, 3 years ago I looked and felt well. I need to get back there

I'm on Atkins too. It does really help keep track of what you're eating. Sometimes you have to enter the ingredients for recipes to get the counts, but it's worth it in the end...
