Mousy1109's Journal, 22 August 2016

I know that this weigh in may seem like a big jump to some, but I was expecting this one. As some of you know, I recently did a three and a half day fast in hopes of resetting my body's resting weight. Although I lost 8 pounds last Monday, I had no doubt that my weight would rise back up again after reintroducing food. My weight stayed down Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, but then began to creep up starting on Friday. Obviously, I knew to expect some type of increase because I went from no food to food. I also think that some of the increase is due to how I reintroduced the food. I ate an egg coming out of the fast, but I think that I should have eaten something much higher in fat to start with. I chose to stop drinking bulletproofs when coming out of the fast as well, and I definitely think that the differences in fat content left me feeling hungry for the next several days. I have gone back to making bulletproofs, but on a much smaller scale than what I was before. I have no regrets with my fast, and I feel that it was successful, even with my weight bouncing back up some. I am excited to see what my weight will look like over this next week, as I think that it will be a clearer picture as to how this fast is going to influence my weight loss journey. As always, I am feeling confident and blessed!

Mousy, have no regrets. Try, fail and adjust. The scale is trying to play a trick on me today which is total bull. Too blessed to be stressed. I refuse to loose this battle and so should you. You got this.

You are a ROCK STAR and MY INSPIRATION. I never would have started my own weight loss journey if you had not set such a grand example for me. I have learned so much about my body thus far, what I can and cannot eat, and how certain foods make me feel. Thank you, and you totally have this! LOVE YOU!!!
