What does your old scale say? Scales are all different and you may weigh something different on each one. You should be within a few pounds. You need to use one scale to accurately gauge your weight loss. If you are starting with a new scale this week, then forget the starting weight from last week. You most likely did lose weight on the old one. Calibration and flooring effect the scale. It should be on a hard level surface. It's also important to keep it one place. You can tell when the flooring isn't level by moving it around and getting different numbers. Just start fresh this week and keep going.
