I found myself unbelievable up to 321.5 over the weekend. So, I have come back to Induction to kick start my weight loss. Not just in relative theory but with firm determination.

I have been reading a number of posts from people online who pretty much stayed on Induction for a few months not just the 2 week minimum and felt fine with the food. I realize that my tolerance to sugar has fallen pretty low. Even fruits now make me gain. I also have tested my body's reaction to wheat products and now am convinced that I have a wheat allergy of some kind. My "asthma" symptons practically disappear when I go off wheat. No weasing....just pure air. I have to give this a chance and not just for my weight reduction but for my upper respitory health.

I am testing 30 days of Induction at a time. This is day 3.
312.5 lb Lost so far: 30.8 lb.    Still to go: 32.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Hey, Welcome back. It is important that after you kick the cravings (be it 2 weeks or 2 months) you move up to OWL. OWL gives you the tools to succeed with the diet long-term. You won't loose any more weight by staying on Induction any longer than a well-done OWL. I lost 50#s last year in 6 months by staying on Induction the entire time. This year I lost the same 50#s in 4 months by moving up to OWL after 2 weeks. If you start getting bored with your food, you know it is time to move up.

Thanks for your comment Denise! I agree with moving to OWL. It's the way to have stable blood sugar and not gain the weight back. But beyond that the key for me will be to just get on the treadmill and walk it off.
