Well, inspired by one of Deb F's journal posts, I searched Dr. Jason Fung on Youtube. I fell asleep last night listening to him and must have been brainwashed all night with videos about fasting.

I did a new search this morning and there he was with Dr. Daniel Pompa talking about hormones and obesity, fasting, and insulin sensitivity. Dr. Pompa was so over the top excited to have Dr. Fung on his show, I could practically hear him saying, "Dude! Right! I know!"

Dr. Pompa made Dr. Fung laugh several times and the guy really has a great smile.

According to them, I've come as far as I'm going to by simply reducing calories. Forgoing sugar is absolutely correct, but I need to do something different to really correct my weight problem.

It's not about calories, but I am going to continue logging my food and stay under the fs RDI. There is no future where eating half a bag of kettle chips is acceptable. Also, I want to focus on getting the correct micronutrients for brain health.

I love Dr. Wahls, but I need to remember she was not obese when she started the Wahls Protocol. To correct my weight problem, I will need to fast.
