Firelair's Journal, 18 November 2011

Have been snacking pretty heavily. Not sure why. Threw me back into the 170s, but oh well, should be an easy fix. Just need to get down quite a ways before next week (Thanksgiving!) Need to head to the gym an extra day to get back into the groove.

Having a decent snow storm 'til Sunday night. Woke to a blanket of snow. Unfortunately, the black ice is terrible. A pick-up spun out, had a cop already on the scene, and I almost plowed into the cop car (not for lack of trying to move away), then couldn't stop at a stop sign. Glad I don't have to work tomorrow. Hopefully the plows will get a handle on this before I go back to work on Sunday!

Currently feeling: like I need to go to bed early. Bad migraine since the end of work...gonna take some Alka-Seltzer (since it did wonders last time) and crash out. Have a ton of school work to keep me busy all day tomorrow, so the early night will be good for me, so I don't feel obligated to rise any earlier than needed to work on it all.
Overall throughout the day: The new boss I butt heads with didn't schedule me for two weeks now. Hoping the prospective job calls me back tomorrow morning and gives me some good news, so I can put in my two weeks notice and give them only one week of work since he never scheduled me. That would make my day. ;)
170.0 lb Lost so far: 38.0 lb.    Still to go: 35.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Ouch, black ice is SCARY! It makes everyone drive like madmen (even if we don't mean to!). It's weird that you have been snacking like that - however I think our bodies just sometimes "misses" something and then we crave it. Just give in a little, move on and do right again. Just like you do. It's good to see that you're preparing for thanksgiving. :)
