As predicted yesterday, the scale did go up a few pounds. Am I upset or worried? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Why? Because by logging my food daily and exercise daily I KNOW the weight will come off.
I didn't eat extremely healthy yesterday, but I still had a calorie deficit. I'm retaining water and waste (I know, TMI) - so I know in all actuality, this weight gain is very temporary. I tried on those Express slacks again this morning, they still fit like a glove. So yeah, the increase on the scale will not phase me.
Tonight, I will be at the gym instead of working out from home. I like going to the gym for cardio and the machines to isolate muscle groups. I think today I will focus on my upper body and back. We shall see.
