SupPaddlegirl's Journal, 27 April 2016

I have never lost weight this quickly. I can only believe that it was the water weight some of you have told me about. Looks like I am back in the zone where I have stayed for months. Will see if this weight loss trend continues! If so, I truly must have been eating much more than I thought?

Dear Super Girl! I find that using the food logs here on the site are the only thing that allows me an accurate perspective on what is actually going into my mouth! I was "on" LCHF paleo and my scale weight up and down and only when I logged my intake, was I able to understand that I was consuming a lot more carbs that I imagined. Nothing like data to drive us to a better understanding of our mysterious bodies. I have one idea for you...get an app called Sleep Cycle and track your sleeping habits and see what effect this has on your scale (and your moods)! No one can lose weight when sleep deprived bc our bodies go into fight or flight and hold onto every bit of stored fat for dear life bc our bodies do not discriminate between real danger and the perception of danger.

Great idea, bellcurvz! I will definitely look into that. I aim for 7 hours every night...but I honestly don't track it well and I could be getting far less. Thank you :)
