I have a formal event this weekend, so have been stepping up my workouts (mainly lifting, as I am wanting to tone up) over the last few weeks. Weight and measurements have gone up and down, but when they've gone up, it's obviously been due to mainly muscle, and when it's gone down, it's been mainly due to losing fat. I can tell visually that I have toned up, especially in shoulders and lower abs (around the hip bone area). So, success!
