Proud that I went out to dinner two nights in a row and was able to watch my family and friends eat dessert without even wanting a bite. They were proud of me, too, and didn't make me feel awkward or guilty. :)
I want to point out that I started the diet on January 7, but recorded my first weigh-in here on January 9. I didn't lose 3 pounds in one day. LOL

way to go! it's funny how if you watch what you eat for just a couple of days, new habits form and you end up craving healthier things. if only it were that easy EVERYDAY! :)

Isn't that the truth. :)
I just spent some time planning my meals and snacks for the week, and used that to build my shopping list. When I get home I'll prepare in advance the things I can, and try to make it as simple as possible for me to stick to my plan for the rest of the week. It's nice having supportive people in my life. My boyfriend, best friend, mom, and sister are all very encouraging of my efforts.
I can't wait to see the results at the end of my first full week!
