Another week begins.
I was sick this weekend, so I wasn't very hungry. I didn't record my food faithfully, but I continued to eat low/no sugar, so at least I maintained that part of it. I'm anxious to step on the scale...
Lunches are prepped for the week, snacks are ready, breakfasts will be quick. I hope I have another good week away from home, and gain control of the evenings again.

Last night was better. I didn't do any after-dinner snacking that I hadn't planned.
This morning I woke up with a cold. It's going to take a lot of strength to get through the day, since I'm usually pretty impatient when I'm sick. I hope my students are angels today...

I do really well during the day. I planned out my meals at the beginning of the week, I make sure to pack everything I need in the morning when I leave for the day, I haven't snacked on a single thing while at school that I didn't plan for or pack myself.
Then I get home and start taking little bites of this and that. All are foods I can have, but I'm going over my carbs (usually not sugar) because of this snacking. I've done it the past 2 nights.
Why am I doing this to myself?

Wow am I HUNGRY today! I'm grateful I have some "legal" snacks on hand, but I don't want to eat all my sugar or carbs for the day before I even make it to dinnertime...
Any suggestions for "free" snacks to have on hand?
