I was so chuffed that I managed to stick to my eating plan this weekend.
Weekends for me has always been difficult, I usually feel like its my time to take a break... not only from work but from exercise and my diet.
combine that with frequent huge family gatherings with lots of my favourite food .. and you are asking for trouble.

This weekend was different, I think my entire outlook on this weight loss journey has changed.

I realise now, this is just not a fad or a yo-yo diet. I am changing my lifestyle. My thinking has changed. If you want a better quality life, there is certain things you have to do. And I think being able to say no to all this unhealthy food is a good start...

It also helped that I never allowed myself to feel very hungry... I just kept eating healthy snacks...

and I really looking forward to this shake it off challenge.

186.5 lb Lost so far: 4.0 lb.    Still to go: 43.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
