Honey is way healthier than sugar. What method of weight loss are u following besides cutting out sugar?

I am a complete newbie at this. I have eliminated all sugar from my diet. eating lots of veg and salads. no breads or pasta. I started doing just 30 mins of moderate cycling a day... ( just the last 2 days now) should I be doing more exercise??

Welcome to our community :) We all lacked the knowledge at first but thanks to the members on here, we help to guide each other and share knowledge. I know you have probably had a million people tell you what to do to become healthy but there is also too much misinformation and it can all be very confusing. The method of weight loss that you follow must be sustainable otherwise the weight loss will be something temporary. People all around the world have had great success for insulin resistance by adopting a fasting regimen as opposed to changing to just a healthy diet. Exercise is great to do but 90% of the work is in your eating. Give yourself time to learn and feel free to ask for help. Don't make too many changes at once. It will be too overwhelming. First thing I advise is to read about the 5:2 Fast Diet(its not really a diet). The website is www.thefastdiet.co.uk and this will give you tons of new knowledge. Take your 1st few weeks just to log all the food u eat in a day on your Food Diary. Instead of using cup measurements, get a kitchen scale and enter weight measurements of the food you consume. It's a little effort to weigh your food but its more accurate :)
