So, today's weigh-in shows that I am up a pound on what I was two weeks ago, and I'm back at the weight I recorded on 16th Feb, nearly three weeks ago. So I'm feeling niggled, even though it was a conscious decision to enjoy myself while my friend was here. I still think it was the right thing to do, and i haven't done to badly! So I shouldn't feel niggled, should I? I would like to make it up this week, but my calendar tells me I have a meal out coming up on Thursday, and another on Saturday evening. Sigh! So I will just have to do my best, prepare for a likely small (and temporary!) increase again next week, and try to be patient. No matter, I'll get there in the end.

That is a good loss Heidi, I wouldn't beat yourself up, you enjoyed your time with your friend, but didn't go over the top and as you said before, it could be water weight too. Remember that we can fluctuate up to around 4lb without having done anything extraordinary. I am sure this week will ease your mind ☺️

Not sure why you're beating yourself up, you have still had a loss and are heading in the right direction. I think you have to look at this from the other side nobody likes a diet bore, trust me I know. My dad is one and everything is "you know it's a Slippery slope" he can no longer enjoy a meal and funnily enough neither do we if he's in that mind set. Both you and your friend had a good time which is appropriate and now I assume you're back to mindful eating ( or call it what you will mines the wagon). Just think how far you've actually come.

Thanks folks. Erm, the only thing I was beating myself up about was that I was feeling annoyed when I shouldn't have been! It didn't last long anyway. Josie, I would never be like your Dad! Good luck to you!
