Firelair's Journal, 22 October 2011

Seems my weight is at a stand-still right now (or a slow roll 2 lbs up and 2 lbs down)...seems to have started when I cut out the big protein (and fat) breakfast that my BF and I would often cook for eachother. Wonder if it left me more satisfied throughout the day, or maybe the protein is last to go, so it burned fat first (like Atkins)? ...or do I continue to chalk it up to stress? I'm not sure...

Currently feeling: a little tired, but great! Found my ring this morning, so it made everything fall into place throughout the day! :D
Overall throughout the day: stayed busy, felt good!
177.0 lb Lost so far: 31.0 lb.    Still to go: 42.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

You may be right about the breakfast. Studies have shown that people on a weight loss journey who eat two eggs every morning will lose weight 65% faster on average. That's pretty good! Maybe it's better to have the awesome breakfast, feel satisfied all day (or at least until lunch) AND enjoy a good meal with BoyToy. Maybe it could be adjusted to contain less fat but all the protein? It might just be tiny adjustments... :)

Hmm...I'm gonna have to experiment and see if it effects my body that way. Interesting thought! My cholesterol was starting to spike, and seeing how my dad and his side of the family has all of the high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc...I didn't want to straddle that line too closely. Guess I'll have to make an appointment and find out where those stats are for me, then look into going back to the big, yummy breakfasts =)
