OutlanderFan's Journal, 02 March 2016

Hoped I would have lost more, but not surprised I didn't, with all the stuff going on. Trying to keep the stress levels down. My daughter is now officially homeless and has been couch surfing. Will continue to keep my focus on my health and wellness. Had my labs drawn a couple of days ago and my Hgb A1c is down from 5.9 to 5.7 and I no longer have elevated liver enzymes! Hopefully my diagnosis of fatty liver can be stricken from my medical record.
I really am so thankful that this site and you folks are here for me.

I'm so sorry, Outlander. You very much live your daughter's problems even as you can't solve them. That must be deeply painful. Good luck to you and to her. {{hugs}}

Proud of how you are still managing to reduce in spite of the stress and outside factors! You inspire me!

Thank you all so much! My daughter texted me today complaining that she didn't have a job, money, car, place to live, etc. I told her that if she came up with a real plan on how she was going to get herself out of this current situation, we would be willing to listen and help but we had to believe she is willing to make changes. She then asked if we could go somewhere for dinner and to talk. Cautiously, I will meet her tonight. We'll see...
