Dang it. 3 days, no losses.

Something got me yesterday, my blood sugar was up to 110 this morning. This is after it was down in the low 90's. Not sure what it was, but I'll figure it out.

My attitude, motivation and drive toward my goals are still good and not broken.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Keep doing the right things, the scale will eventually cooperate.

Yea, it's perfectly normal to not lose for a few days or more. Some people only see the scale move once a week. One day its up, the next day down. All normal. Just keep going. Factors like sodium, hormones, stress, sickness, medicines and much more effect our bodies water weight, so it evens out in the end.

@Coach_B it's awesome to see the scale move, it was for me in the beginning, I couldn't believe how much I was loosing, it was well off the charts for typical progress. Things have changed though and it's much slower now. I know my formula (Keto, lifting heavy, IF) is correct and I'm trying to distance myself from two things. First is the number on the scale. It can't tell me how bloated I am, muscle vs. fat; I've got lymphodema in a lower leg due to an accident a long time ago, the volume of swelling changes everyday. I'm eating with a deficit and I'm still existing. My body is getting the energy from somewhere. The scale will eventually move and I'm trying hard now to live in the moment and not for what the scale tells me tomorrow. If you've got no scale movement for 2 or 3 week it may be worth looking at your food log for the previous 4 or 5 weeks to see if there is anything out of the ordinary. As we burn fat, our bodies will swap water into those fat cells so volume is maintained; an effort to maintain homeostasis. A quick excerpt from an article about this "What’s going on? Back during my college days, one of my professors threw out the idea that after fat cells had been emptied of stored triglyceride, they would temporarily refill with water (glycerol attracts water, which might be part of the mechanism). So there would be no immediate change in size, body weight or appearance. Then, after some time frame, the water would get dropped, the fat cells would shrink. A weird way of looking at it might be that the fat loss suddenly becomes ‘apparent’. That is, the fat was emptied and burned off days or weeks ago but until the water is dropped, nothing appears to have happened." Link here: http://goo.gl/FHdAWi
