Day 24 of 2nd 6 wks, 141,bf 37.6%, tbw 43%, visc f 8/0, musc mass 83.6/2, bone mass 4.4lb, 2002/50, keto tr, elipticle 45 min level 5, one hour weights upper and lower body.

breakfast atkins choc chip granola bar, coffee w half and half, lunch ham, cheese, tomato (insides of deli sandwiches served at working lunch) and diet pepsi, dinner steak salad w blue cheese dressing, diet coke, low carb choc covered vanilla ice cream bar.

Interesting that I did not miss the bread or potato chips at lunch but the cookies looked pretty good. I just moved quickly away from the table. I realize what a habit my eating and exersize life has become. It's pretty great not to have to think about decisions.

I'm going to miss weights until a week from today since I am traveling for work, then personal, then out of the office for 3 days (my gym is in my office complex). Since I don't have specific 'body building' goals, it will be fine--just harder next Thursday. Life happens.
141.0 lb Lost so far: 17.8 lb.    Still to go: 6.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
losing 4.2 lb a week

I wish that I could get my exercising game up to play. Any suggestions? You are doing so well what is your secret?

I am fortunate to have the all the stars aligned this time around. I tend to injure myself somewhere around the 6th week from overdoing it. I love running but it took a number of injuries before I admitted that for me, I was hurting my body, not helping. So this time, I decided that 'first do no harm' was in order. I bought the best eliptical trainer I could afford. I get up very early and work out before i leave for the day. I might miss one day a week--usually because I am traveling for work. Since I'm consistent otherwise, I don't stress out about it. Knowing that doing the same exact exerisize every day tends to result in a plateau, I do the random program and increase the intensity about evry 15 days of exersize or so. I have now reached level 6. I skip one day every once in a while and about a day a week I substitute a wonderful bikeride for the elipticle. So much for the aerobic--it's become a habit that would be difficult to leave behind. As for the weights--at least once/wk, usually two, and I shoot for 3. Since I do them at the end of the day, it doesn't seem like I am workng out twice in one day. It takes discipline for me to go to the gym and change and begin--of course once I get started it's ok. My secret? I AM motivated this time--mainly because it is working! I have dieted for 8 weeks at a time (low fat, low cal, ww, ) and only lost 5 lb. I decided that I couldn't complain if I didn't do everything I knew to lose weight--THEN I could say it wasn't possible. I guess it's possible!
