With Thanksgiving only a few days away I am starting to freak out a little. I keep telling myself to take my own "snacks" with me! So I don't blow away everything I have worked so hard for in this journey. Trying to find recipes for something I can eat and share with others is not easy! My brain is saying... "but it's time for Cheese balls, and Pumpkin pie, and mashed potatoes ... and everything else I'm not allowing myself to have, like Carbs! Man if I think Thanksgiving is bad heaven help me when Christmas gets here!
227.4 lb Lost so far: 41.6 lb.    Still to go: 87.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I have already planned to have scalloped corn, sweet potatoes, and stuffing. I am possibly going to have dessert, haven't decided yet. I'm also thinking about Christmas "treats"!

Yes, I'm planning to eat what I want too. But I'm going to stop when i'm satisfied. I'm going to workout in the morning and go for a walk after eating. Then I get back on plan the next day. Life is short, and it's one meal. Do whatever you have to do to get through it. If' i'm out at someone's house, I take only the foods I really want and don't get to have very much. Taking a vegetable dish would be a good idea or maybe veggie plate with dip so you can fill up before the dinner and not feel so hungry. But try to enjoy it too.
