Hello friends,
Im sorry i took a few days away from the computer. Life has been busy (since my husband and i live on a 1200 acre dairy farm and milk 700 cows) But i decided to quickly write a review of my week to let you all know that things are going wonderful! I started phase 2 this week and was at first hestitant that i might gain a few pounds...but remarkably i lost 3 lbs this week. Yesterday and today iadded a piece of fresh fruit to my diet! Sometimes i find myself going through a day almost without eating..why is this? Maybe its a good thing or is that something to be concerned about? But my appetite has really changed and so has my eating habits. Surprisingly my husband really keeps an eye on me..lol! He told me last night, he's really seen a difference over the past 2 weeks!

Well our 1st year anniversary is this Sunday and i must say proudly..i lost all the weight i gained since the wedding, so now im down to my wedding day weight! What a blessing!! We are going to spend a 5 day weekend in North Carolina and come home late Monday. I hope things will go okay for me diet wise. I'm planning to pack healthy snacks....and trust me hubby gets to eat it too!

Have a nice weekend everyone..i'll be back on Tuesday!
197.0 lb Lost so far: 11.5 lb.    Still to go: 47.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I often go through the greater part of the day without eating. I've read that it's a habit that can be conducive to an ulcer as acid builds in your stomach and eats a hole through the lining. One of the ways to defend against it (I'm not sure of this) is to drink a lot of water. Another, of course, would be to put in a strategic snack. The problem with that is: once I start eating it's difficult to stop. Let me know if you find an effective way to manage it. For the moment, I *try* to remember to drink a lot of water on those days.

Thanks for the info...hmmmm now I'm thinking! Is this why i'm having to take tums at night. I usually end up sometime during the night with a burning sensation, i bought some sugar free tums and after taking 1 or 2 tums that feeling goes away. Im doing good at drinking, i usually consume 10 or more large glasses of water daily. I'll monitor my symtoms... i hope nothing like an ulcer developes! Anyways thanks again for the input.
