Still on track. Been losing about 2lb a week for the last four months. I see no reason that this trend will no continue. I'm not dieting (restricting my eating). I am just eating what I like. What I've done, over the last couple of years that I have been using this the Facsecret site, is educate myself about what is really health food. I eat better food and so can eat more food. I don't need to count the calories any more because my habit is now to just eat the right amount.

Two big things that I changed in June that lead to this weight loss trend.

1. I gave up all sugary drinks and snacks. In particular Coca-cola was hard to give up. I think I had (still have) a mild addiction to the caffeine. Drinking coffee in the morning substituted for the Coco-cola caffeine and then water during the day. I reckon this change stripped 400 to 700 kcal from my daily intake.

2. Significantly more exercise. In particular much more walking. Long walks of 10 miles or so twice a week, plus as much walking as I can squeeze in between my work schedule. I am now very much fitter generally than I was last year, which makes exercise easier, which makes losing weight easier, which makes me fitter, which... cyclic.

N.B. I'm not drinking excessive amounts of caffeine that I need to worry about it. I like one cup of coffee a day. Maybe one extra on Saturday. That's all. It is a health quantity.
222.7 lb Lost so far: 37.5 lb.    Still to go: 35.3 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
