Hello, im back after taking a short business trip with my husband. Things are working..yeah!! Im so happy, but i must admit it was very hard to stick to the diet while away from home. But my husband was so supportive, he didnt tempt me with fast foods. we stopped to eat so then i could order low carb versions of foods.
I lost my appetite...maybe its because my body is now adjusted to the low carb idea. How long does one have to stay on the first phase? Im afraid that once i move into phase 2 im going to pack on the poubds again. I would love to lose a few more pounds before i got into the next step... Any adive would be helpful..thank you!

I have stayed on phase one way too long. in my experience the weight loss slowed a lot after a few weeks so I might as well have moved to phase 2. It will slow down on phase 2 but as long as you don't add in too many "good carbs" you will be fine. if you stick to phase 1 too long you will most likely get burnt out and end up caving in to bad foods. you may just want to add in a little fruit and maybe some whole grains, just like a serving a day. you will still lose 1-2 lbs a week most likely.

Move to Phase 2 when you feel that it's right for you. Many people stay on Phase 1 for a month and then come back for more. As/when you move into Phase 2 take the new foods one at a time and study the effect they have on you. Phase 1 should allow your sensitivity to become very sharp. If you feel that a particular food is making you crave more switch to something else. Perhaps others with more experience with the diet will jump in and give you additional ideas. The above is pretty much what is described in the first book.
