So, I tried something new. After going off my diet for a week due to a work situation -- a one week summer camp where I had to eat with the kids -- I had a hard time getting back on track and finally just out and out cheated for the first time since I started back in March. I decided I needed a kick in the pants, so I spent the last five days trying a version of the fast mimicking diet that was in the news back in June.
This is the diet I followedI followed it very precisely and felt pretty good on it. I lost just over four pounds over five days and I feel confident that I can now get back to my regular routine.
