Hello, im back after taking a few days away. I must say im proud of myself and didnt yield to food temptations this weekend. Although it was hard, because i had to cook for 2 separate parties..oh my gosh..that was a killer. A good cook will always taste what she prepares..im told...haha! Anyways i did taste a little, but didnt over do anything.
Im determined to kill these extra pounds. I really need to, because my left knee is killing me. I had surgery in May of this year and was told my knee needs to be totally replaced, but given my age, they want to hold off another 6-8 years. We are looking into other options to buy me pain relief and time. Some days i have so much pain i can hardly walk and this weekend was no option! So the less pounds i must carry the better.
204.0 lb Lost so far: 4.5 lb.    Still to go: 54.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

You have lost the first few pounds which should be enough to get you started. I'm sorry to hear that you have so much pain. Lately, I have been practicing the Feldenkrais method in order to achieve a little more balance and poise. You might want to check it out if you haven't already, I hear that many people practice it to reduce pain. I'm not at all an expert in in this area though. Good luck!
