Weigh In day today and have to transition from my old analog scale that I’ve been using for at least 18 years to my new and I guess more ACCURATE digital scales which has a 5 lb difference in the wrong direction. My weight will now reflect that new difference looking as though I’ve gained but haven’t. I just weighed more than my old scale was reading to start with. Starting fresh with new number.
178.8 lb Lost so far: 4.2 lb.    Still to go: 43.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

that happened to me too when I switched from an analog to a digital scale. It is a bit frustrating.

Not a problem scale is sometimes inaccurate. How you look in the mirror, how your clothes are fitting, tape measurements matters more than weighing scales. Keep doing what you’re doing. You are doing great job monitoring. You’re literally taking care of yourself. Most people don’t even have time for that 🙄. So be proud of yourself 😇😇😇

Yes PurpleDragonFly it really is frustrating. I’m over the initial shock now and ready to move the numbers in a downward motion from here on in!!

You’re focussing on your health and happiness, that’s the main thing. I agree with others. You should be proud of yourself.

Rishi those are such encouraging words and you are so right. It’s how our progress shows in ways that matter far more than a number on a scale. I’ll tell you, when I was faced when the initial shock of this new number I was pretty down on myself so right then I measured every area of my body so I can also keep track that way as to my progress. I hadn’t done that before and it’s wise to do. I only know that my clothes feel looser, I can move better and I generally feel so much better. I had also lost a few lbs prior to finding this site. I started my weight loss at 189 lbs (old scale) so I had already lost 5 lbs before entering into this wonderful community. Thanks again Rishi. 🫶

Maguscanook you are right. I’ve changed so much in my thinking about food that yes, I should be proud of myself and I am. Thank you for those words. We are all our own worst enemies. I think that some Devine Intervention brought me to this community where it seems only kindness exists. I love it here. How many places do we know in the world where it is a place of safety, trust and comradery? That seems to be what it is here ❤️😊

Patchizz, I’ve never read any mean comments on the FS site. It’s all love and support all the way. 🇨🇦☀️
