Probably the up and down of calories. Under 1000 over 1300 body is confused. When things get more settled in the extended family situation should normalize. Im fine with it but def keeping an eye out.
136.0 lb Lost so far: 91.0 lb.    Still to go: 1.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I would like to be in the 1200 - 1400 calorie range.

Morticia where are you now? How many calories a day? On days i walk i can do 1200-1300 calories to maintain on days i dont i need to be 1000. Usually i walk. I would love to be in the 1800-2000 calorie a day but dont think i can ever get enough muscle on to burn that much sadly.15 years ago i could tho

I want to be in the 1200 - 1500 calorie range, but am generally in the 1800 - 2000 calories consumed per day. My doctor once told he to consume 1250 calories per day in order to lose weight. Another doctor (a specialist) told me 1250 calories was a "concentration camp diet". I can lose on 1800 calories, but it requires more exercise on my part to do it. Sigh !!! :)

Bionici-i dont know any doctor that would say 1250 calories was concentration camp calories. That seems silly to me. If you are losing at 1800 if you just cut it to 1300 you would lose an additional pound a week. The first 6 months of my journey i was on 700-800 calories a day to lose 1-2 pounds a week. That was not healthy but given my particular medical situation with adrenal glands its what i had to do. I was fearful i was going to have to stay at sub-1000 per day just to maintain so i am grateful i can have 1200, 1300 per day. Exercise is your friend tho💕

Yearofhealth2023, the specialist was a cardiologist, and he just believed that 1250 a day would probably not be in the best interests of my heart at the time. I am just grateful at this point that I can lose weight at 1800 with the extra exercise.
