Had a TIA Jan 25th. My whole right side was paralyzed. Just gone really, as far as my brain could tell, the right side didn't exist. I could see it, but that was it. My speech was very slow and hard to get out. This all lasted about an hour. Then I was fine. No lingering symptoms. I am now one several drugs, some temporary, some life long. I'm 56. Hard life. Never ate well. If you're bp is not under control even if you are losing weight, I urge you to go see your doctor. Get on some pills if you have to. You are not giving in, you are not giving up. You are giving yourself a chance to get better. I was in the Hospital for only 2 days, but that's longer than I should have been. I do not recommend this way of losing weight.

I had a TIA December 23. Definitely the scariest thing that's ever happened to me. For me, it was a blood clot likely caused by Afib. I am only 48. An eye opener for sure. Glad to hear your doing well!

Thank you. They think it was a small blood clot, buy no evidence of it. Neurologist said he didn't want to see me again for 6 months. Glad you are also doing better.
