Week 1 back on my diet done. 4.4 pounds down. I’m getting back into the swing of eating healthy. I’m not new to eating healthy but I have not paid attention to the calories in my meals since my husband had a major stroke last year. I just stopped eating healthy meals and ate whatever food he was eating. My husband is not going to eat the food that I eat. After 35 years of marriage I have given up trying to get him to eat more vegetables. I learned years ago that you can only get yourself healthier. I offer to cook meals for him. Sometimes he chooses to eat some of what I eat. He is an excellent cook and he can cook for himself if he doesn’t want to eat healthy options. It is what it is.
203.4 lb Lost so far: 16.6 lb.    Still to go: 43.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
