Im doing terrible. I'm working on not eating a small piece of chocolate at night but I think my bigger problem is fat..

I like my mayo, even though I do a half canola, it's still overall calories.
I also like a 1/2 avocado every night in my salad. Healthy fat but still high calories. I"ve been putting peanut butter on my bananas and apples. I'm sure I'm not having my serving size. probably 3 to 4 tablespoons easy with my fruit.
Then there is the splitting a bottle of wine with my hubby at dinner each night. 400+ maybe calories extra.
150.5 lb Lost so far: 4.5 lb.    Still to go: 10.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Fat is perfectly fine as long as you are cutting your carbs. Also make sure your fats are from healthy sources.. avacados are perfect.. Mayo isn't optimal because of the canola oil. Try getting fats from olive oil, coconut oil as well. Grassfed gee is great for cooking too. keep it up!

Maybe the keto way of eating might be something you'd like. It is for some people, but not for others. Like Panigale1199 says, the fat is good, too many carbs can get in the way. Here's a link to the keto way of eating, in case it is something you might be interested in. www.dietdoctor.com.

Those are great fats and can help you lose. But with so little to actually lose, you need watch your calories. Portion control is your friend, and tracking too. Get some measuring cups, spoons and a food scale. It is eye opening to see what actual servings look like.
