I am right there. I do the same thing. I sure hope it works as I just started FatSecret. I consistently go a little over and I sure hope that doesn’t catch up with me

Welcome to FatSecret, Al! Good luck on your health journey! My main advice since I hit a few bumps on my journey already is to not go too low with the calories to make sure you have energy to increase exercise. Perhaps you are already very active—I wasn’t until about two weeks ago. With increasing exercise, I went from 1200 to now 1300 and over on some days (1400, which is my BMR, is where I will probably end up). I don’t obsess (well, just a little :) about the scale being stuck in one place right now for over a week because I feel in my body that the fat is shrinking and my muscles are growing and I’m getting stronger. The second reason I upped my calories by a 100 a day is to more easily fit in 80-90g of protein and more than 20 g of fiber a day. I’d be curious to know more about your approach to calories, how you’re deciding how much to eat, and weight loss more generally.

While I am following you, I can see myself. I really blew it yesterday and I am hoping I didn’t do too much damage
