Back at this number AGAIN!!! IDK why I can't stick to this. This summer I took a job outside the classroom where I'm forced to be more active. Honestly I almost hit 370 but I got some lbs off before I decided to post. So here it is me trying again. Starting over AGAIN!!!
366.5 lb Lost so far: 1.5 lb.    Still to go: 66.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 0.6 lb a week

You have to change your relationship with food. When you do that it will all fall into place. There's a million ways you can help yourself. Pre planning meals or doing what I do now. Meal prep in some containers at home. It makes it so much easier when you don't have to think about what to eat. Again ultimately it's how bad do you want it? How bad do you want a healthier you/bettter body? I believe you mentioned your daughter before. So I'll tell you another one for me was my 3 kids. Every time I make a better choice on food, working out etc. I say with each better choice in my mind. I've gained another moment with them in our lives. Whether it ends up being true who knows. But it makes it easier mentally. You know you're doing this for yourself and your loved ones. I mean all of this respectfully. I'm not piling on. Just wanting to help 👋🤝🙏

You got this!! Are you a breakfast person? if not skip it! Thats alot of unnecessary calories if you're not. I find 2 big meals a day is best for me protein fat and veggies. if I must have a snack it will be sugar free Jello, pudding with whip cream. or light popcorn. I love the cooking light magazine it helps find new meals. If need to eat out get extra protein no bread.

Neka joe is right. It is about the relationship with food. I am a food addict. More precisely a sugar and fat addict. Breaking the sugar addiction for me was the hardest starting point. Inputting every single thing you are eating may help with accountability. No mindless “i will just have this one piece” of whatever. It all adds up and adds up fast. Water water water. Hot or cold. If you know you are about to make a poor choice require yourself to drink 8 ounces of water followed by an apple (for example) and then see if that has changed whatever trigger got set off in your brain. Try bone broth. I personally dont like it but drank a ton of it last summer for protein and super low calorie. Side benefit was that it made my tummy feel full so didn’t feel like adding to that feeling. I used dr kellyanne but you can make your own (i tried but mine was a dismal failure). Use this community!!! Record everything. Maybe before you eat whatever, record it so you can visually see the calories, grams of protein, fat etc. and MOVE…walk if you cant walk well then do chair excercises. Park 5 spots further away at the store than you normally would so you have to move more. It’s the little things that add up to big things. I wish i could send you a hug. You CAN do this. You CAN. Take it exactly one day at a time. Just today you will make choices that are healthy for your body. Not saying you can never again have whatever put you at this weight but not for today. God bless you and your journey. Sorry for the book. My daughter is gaining weight by the week and im afraid for her. So afraid. You have babies that love you and you love. You can do this!💕

Hey there ~ the first important thing is to check in here regularly and be accountable. So yay for you being back. A couple of months ago you mentioned planning to meet with a nutritionist? So I hope you were able to do that and come up with a plan you can live with. Lastly I guess there are some folks on here who don’t have to log everything they eat every day, but I’m not one of them. I try to record throughout the day but even with that there are things I forget and then I go back in and add them (sometimes days later). Progress is slow but I’m not giving up and neither should you. Glad you’re here with all of us on the journey to a healthier life!

I hear ya, when I first joined fat secret I had to lose like 50 pounds to reach my recommend weight. Now, 9 years later, I have to loose 150lbs. I do fine when I log my calories BEFORE I eat then, but In often don't do it till afterwards, & once I get off track it's much too easy to not even bother opening the website, or even the app with the giant widget on my phone's homescreen.

Neka are you using this site daily to record your weight and food intake? That extra accountability may speak to you
