i’m so happy with my progress so far in only a week! i’m certain some is actual fat and not water…. logging reigns supreme! i’ve done so many extreme diets and been so strict in the past but maybe just logging my food for life and trying to stick to primarily low glycemic impact and whole/natural foods will be enough to maintain this time? that’s an exciting idea and logging is annoying but really doesn’t take that long and if it brings me reassurance that i’m on the right track and will help me with my goals it’s a small price to pay for that type of liberation ❤️

You’re right about logging. Logging my food keeps me accountable though 😃 when ppl offer me junk food I just tell them I have all my food logged already so no thank you 😊

Keto/Low carb combined with short dry fasts 24-36 hours with a little bit of walking 30 minutes to 2 hours works wonders for me. My meals are very nutrient as well. Calories still matter so I try to not eat beyond my daily cap. I'll keep the diet and fasting after I reach my goal, but I will add in cheat meals ones in a while for social occasions. That will do the trick I hope.

Sounds like a good plan. I do CICO with no forbidden foods. My reasoning is that I want to choose a way of eating that I can follow for the rest of my life. Each of us has to follow a WOE that works for us.
