I know exactly how you feel. For 3 years I have had to sit and watch everyone around me enjoy themselves while I could not. But the pay off is SO rewarding!! Please don't give up!

Thank for understanding. It feels like I'm forst to punish myself for gaining all this wieght just to get it to shed off.I'm so use to seeing food as a reward.

Just remember you have to diet AND exercise or it won't maintain. Also, when you are on a regular exercise program, stay away from the scale. You can trade muscle for fat, so the weight is not important. It's how you fit in your clothes! :D

You are not so far from your goal. You can do this. Set small goals. First, ask yourself | Are you ready to lose the weight and the sacrifice it calls for? Do you want good times and bad foods more than losing and the amazing feeling that comes along with it? Are you losing the weight for someone else? or yourself? When I first sat down ready for myself to lose the weight, I realized that I had to lose 125 pounds. It felt so overwhelming but I decided if I was going to do this, then I was going to do it all out dammit. I am 5 pounds past goal now, it can be done! You need not deprive yourself, you need a day to eat what you like but moderation is and always will be the key.

Staying away from the scale is wrong I'm sorry. If you don't have that to keep you in check than you are screwed, this you can believe me on from 3 years of dieting trial and error. I always feel I can cheat a bit more if I have no scale to answer to. What happens when I hop back on? I have a 5 pound weight gain. I don't know why so many people are terrified of the scale.
