I'm an Senior IT Architect working for a Fortune 100 computer company. I travel a lot for work and have a home office. Eating right is a real challenge. I am working with a trainer to get a handle on my lovehandles and work to eat better, even when I am on the road.

Back to FatSecret
After having been away for some time at CalorieKing, I became frustrated with the lack of good mobile tools for my Blackberry. FatSecret has made a lot of improvements, so I have returned to the service and look forward to using it to help me maintain my goals of eating and living right.

I'm working with a trainer twice a week and doing cardio 3 times a week. My weight has dropped a few pounds, but where I really see the changes are in the waistline and chest. Let's just say I'm bulking and shrinking in all the right places, so I do not worry about weight as much as I look at how my clothes fit. Very Happy

One of the things my trainer has helped me do is change the way I look at food. I'm doing more clean eating with fresh and organic foods. More protein and vegetables. Cut out most of the breads, pastas and sugars. Increased my vitamins, especially Vitamin B, C and D.

The net-net is that I feel better, sleep better, and have more energy. I've fallen in love with my morning protein shake for breakfast as it gets me going fast, but keeps me from getting hungry.

Since I work and travel a lot, I use a food service to prepare my meals. The store I use here in Houston is TruMeals. If you are in Houston, I recommend giving them or MyFitFoods a try.

I look forward to trading challenges, motivations and advice together.

Never surrender, never give in. Very Happy

Regards,
Rob

Impatience
No, you're not the only one. We'd all love to take a pill and wake up slim and fine the next morning. Only it'll never happen. Everyone talks about a lifestyle change and they are right. I knew I would never do it on my own, so I decided to take my latte money and hire a personal trainer. It's been nearly 10 months now which the longest I have ever gone to a gym on a regular basis. If you can figure out a way to hire one, I think it's the way to go. I need someone to crack the whip on me. Don't get discouraged. Be patient and stick with it and you will be amazed a year down the line. You'll not only look better, but you'll feel better and so much stronger!

Cheers,
Rob

Website cannot add
I'm seeing the same problem. I cannot add any more meals and the Blackberry app refuses to save any changes. I'm guessing this is a bug.
