I have the Renpho too but ya know, is it accurate for all that stuff who knows. U can use calipers and just measure too. Good luck, don’t give up.

The best body scan is in your doctor's office, though it requires a pin prick and blood loss. In the interim, rummage around the house for a tape measure, and aim for <35". The amount of fat stored in the belly is indicative of your health (and beauty 😉).

Maybe use a tape measure?

Thanks for the tips everyone. I greatly appreciate them.
JB I don’t think I will use the one at Dr office. Pin pricks, needles, drawing blood just don’t jive with me. When I do have to get blood work, I explain to the plobotomist (sp?) I pass out, and I get placed in the dark room, where I am lying down, and almost go out now days. So everyone have a good laugh, because yes, I pass out when needles are around. Funny cause I use them to give shots to the cattle all the time!

Amazon has fancy scales for reasonable prices. I got one for about $25 that tells body fat, water, fat free body weight, muscle mass, BMI, protein, subcutaneous fat, bone mass, and visceral fat. May have missed a couple 🙂 It's pretty full of info!

DM I get your passing out thing! LOL I have had to be pricked a lot with being a breast cancer survivor and I just have to look away and engage in conversation with the person doing it. There are definetely great ones and bad ones because the good ones you won't feel it. If that happens I tell them to teach everyone else. What about the DEXA scans you can get done. I know us women get them for bone density but can they tell you more. I been meaning to talk to my doctor about that.

Our health fair has the handheld ones that I have them use when I go in for my blood draws 2x a year. Don't know how accurate those are, but we all have to kind of decide what level of tracking is good enough for us. Hope you dodge anything in life that requires much in the way of needles! Yikes!

Taking a short nap after a needle prick doesn’t sound like a big deal. But I suspect that the real fear is in what is discovered, and the repercussions. Can’t out-lift a drive-thru diet😔. Maybe bring your teddy bear 🧸 to the lab next time? And flowers for the phlebotomist 💐

Yeah the only thing you can try to do is manually calculate your bmi to get a somewhat idea of what your overall body fat is.
