My Numbers:
fat 45.81 carbs 208.33 protein 52.41 calories 1637, 91% of my 1800 cal RDI

Only down .2 lbs probably because of the high carb ratio but that is not a problem. I am happy that I have started exercising and logging my foods and trying to keep at or under my set RDI. My carbs will be a lot lower today.

I had terrible insomnia last night and got out of the bed around 3 AM and decided to head downstairs for a treadmill workout. I walked 3.5 miles in 1hr with a 1.5 deg incline.

It's 5 AM now, got to warm up the van and start the commute process. Yes, I will be doing stairs again when I get in the office.

Make it count

Ches, I have found that if I can plan out my meals and snacks ahead where everything is balanced, I do much better. So I try to keep a nice even balance between the proteins, fat, and carbs each day. Not always easy but keeping those carbs down has been the most effective.

You're doing good Ches, keep it up. Day to day weight isn't really important compared to longer term, continued persistence at it will pay off in the long haul. My original plan was to be at my goal weight last November, it's just not happening that fast and that's ok, sticking to this to the end and then maintaining it is what's key regardless of how long it takes. Nice job on the exercise, and doing the steps during the day sounds like a great workout.

Thanks Jim. I was under my RDI, I exercised and I am focused on the long term. BTW, you are looking good. Great job! OMG my legs are shredded. I even went up 157 stairs this morning at 7:41 am. This is a new year and I am soooo excited.
