I've eaten less this past week than I ever do. Consumed less calories than I normally do. BUT I gained?!?
Normally I barely snack through the day and binge eat at night. Here lately I've done 3 meals-ish a day with small snacks here n there. I'm even eating fresh fruits and vegetables! RAW!
I'm not terribly discouraged. I know fluctuating is normal. I know I'll start going down soon. Just have to keep at it with the baby steps. That's all I can do for now.
With the exception of water. I hate water! I know how important it is. I'm lucky if I drink 7 bottles a week. I drink that right before bed. So far today I've already drank a whole bottle. According to some tips and suggestions I have 134oz to go...
280.0 lb Lost so far: 3.8 lb.    Still to go: 82.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Let yourself off the hook and don't weigh in weekly. The fluctuations will drive you crazy. I weigh myself every 3-4 weeks. It's much less aggravating.

Thank you! I need to stay away from the scale for a while. I have to start on my baby steps.

I weigh/measure my food plus, track calories on FS. Takes the guesswork out. I’ve completely eliminated snacking in between meals. For me, the trick is eating foods that keep me FULL so I don’t feel like I want a snack. At first, it was hell, now I’ve adjusted and I feel great! I wait 4 hours in between meals on average (except my last snack which is 2-3 hrs after dinner) Eliminating snacking here and there in between meals allows your insulin to come back down. If your insulin is always high, you can develop insulin resistance which in turn causes your body a whole lotta health problems, including storing fat. I’ve now reversed my diabetes 2. It took 1 year to do this. No meds now. (No meds after 6 months)

I forgot to mention I add a little lemon juice to my water. Maybe adding lemon 🍋 or lime could help you w water 💦 drinking?

How did you come up with 2400 calories as your daily limit? That seems too high to lose weight on. Personally, I would lower that to 1500. Also would eliminate sugary sodas as they have a ton of sugar and chemicals and no nutrients. You could drink your water or hot tea (no sugar) instead.
