A little depressing to have to increase my weight on my "weigh in". I have been working out with a trainer for a month and a half and have been continuing with my regular exercise and still managed to gain 4 pounds! I've been told "it's muscle, it weighs more than fat" but that doesn't help. I guess if I felt better or thinner it wouldn't be so bad but I pretty much look and feel the same. Oh well, I'll just take it from here and try to have a good week of eating healthy. I start my new position at my job today. I am no longer a temporary employee so am very happy about that so that's a great Christmas gift to me!!!
126.0 lb Lost so far: 6.0 lb.    Still to go: 11.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 0.7 lb a week

A pound of muscle weighs the same as a pound of fat. Muscle is more dense and takes up less room than fat, so you can get smaller and leaner and actually weigh a little more. Are you taking your measurements? Are you tracking your food honestly? Are you drinking water? Are you eating the right amount of calories to help you lose? Are you getting enough protein and high fiber foods? Are you fitting in to a smaller size? Congrats on the new position!

I did measure myself the first week I started but haven't remeasured yet. I am tracking my food as honestly as I can remember. Sometimes I'll track a day or two after, when I have some free time, so it is possible I'm missing some of that. I probably don't get enough protein so need to work on that too. I'm not ready to give up and with the holidays very close I just have to focus a little better. Thanks for the help!!!
