now upto at 2200 cals per day 6 X per week and 1 day at 2900. started taking creatine 6days ago. will continue to monitor weight at these calories to assess if I have found maintenance level. will then add a few hundred calories per day to see how my body responds. aiming for muscle gain with minimal fat increase.
171.1 lb Lost so far: 20.7 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 1.9 lb a week

Creatine can cause weight gain when you first start taking it due to water retention so give yourself time to adjust 👍

Thanks for the advice. Yes, weight increased by 1kg in the last two weeks. Trying to stick to the new macros however is difficult. I don't have a problem when leaning up but it seems counterintuitive to do the same when in a calorie surplus. What has happened in the past is a lean bulk ends up eventually leading tow putting on excess fat.

Yes, difficult to get the balance right. But you have a good plan and doing it slowly will help prevent fat gain. 💪👍
