Birthday weekend! I did awful. I ate like a pig, didn't drink hardly any water or workout. Gained four pounds and I feel like garbage. lol. But today is the day. I am back on the program. Good thing birthdays only come once a year. I have decided to make it my goal to hit my target by the next one when I turn the big 30! Boo for that. Time to get back on the proverbial horse. Now I have a goal.
276.0 lb Lost so far: 27.0 lb.    Still to go: 11.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

welcome to fs... you are doing great so far...and splurges- (birthdays especially) are SOMEtimes necessary! Good news, you can't put on 4 pounds in one weekend so most likely your body is just holding on to the extra sodium and stuff its not use to! Drink your water to help flush it out and correct your eating those four pounds will be gone real soon! Happy birthday btw!!!!

Happy belated birthday! I think your goal is definitely manageable by your next birthday. You've already come so far, you can do the rest with your eyes closed. I'll be rooting for ya!

Thanks for the wishes. I am trying. I want to be fit again. lol. Playing shows again with the new bands and I am on stage like, "God, I am a fatty." lol

Happy birthday! yep, agreed with Cindy, you need to have splurges occasionally to celebrate special things, or just every once in a while to give yourself a treat. For one meal or even a day, its never a huge deal, as long as you jump right back on and re-commit. Water water water! Its the magic cure for sodium intake. When you intake too much sodium, your body needs water to maintain balance itself out, so it retains it, but drinking extra water lets your body know it doesn't need to hold onto the water and helps get the sodium out and your body back in balance. You should get your weight back down really soon don't worry too much! But it's always important to enjoy those special occasions! Good work so far!! :)
