You've done great. There are so many reasons that could be behind that little gain, although it can be disappointing don't let it get to you too much.

New day willie. No sweat. Could just be normal flux and you'll be back down soon

No, guilty as charged. Went overboard last weekend and ate way too much junk with high fat, high sodium and empty calories. Had a 7 pound gain by Monday. Lesson hopefully learned. On the bright side, I did manage to lose 6.2 pounds since Monday. Have a nice weekend.

SIDE NOTE TO BigBassBrent: Checked my sugar the other day after fasting for about 18 hours and my sugar was only 61. So mine didn't rise, it was lower. That's why I don't think I could do the 16:8 too often. Scared my sugar might get too low.

Hey Chillie, maybe just to help me support you a little bit my new buddy, could you inform me what a good sugar count would be? Or maybe a healthy range? I'm more curious than anything. My dad -I think- is pre and my grandma (his mom) had diabetes and with my sweet tooth I kind of want to know what numbers to look for and aim for. Not that I check yet but someday I might want to be tested. Anyway, thanks for helping us all.

Hey Chillie, I did the same a couple weeks ago, went way overboard on the weekend and gained a bunch of pounds. I see a victory for you though, you went right back to work and took it off quickly so there's a plus side to it. Part of our education I guess. What I get from it is to see that I still have an eating problem, maybe like an alcoholic who's in recovery is still an alcoholic, and I need to work on having better control so I can "cheat" in moderation at appropriate times but not go totally overboard.

Kimberly, according to online Blood Glucose Chart. Levels while Fasting is Normal: 80-100, Impaired: 101-125, Diabetic: 126+. Levels After Eating is Normal: 170-200, Impaired: 190-230, Diabetic: 220-300. Levels 2-3 Hours After Eating is Normal: 120-140, Impaired: 140-160, Diabetic: 200+. Of course, you'll find deviations of these numbers on other sites. The best way to measure, is through blood work by the Doctor. They also have a test where you drink a sugary drink, they test your blood, after a specific amount of time, they test it a 2nd time, and then after a specific amount of time, they test it a 3rd time. This tells the Doctor how your body is processing the sugar. Hope this info helped. Best to have it checked out now. The earlier you catch it, the better chance of keeping it under control.
