Up about a pound from this trip, as anticipated. A number of reasons, including being exhausted and under the weather the whole trip. No more travel plans until December. It'll be nice to get back into more normal routines again

You have no idea, Morticia...yesterday turned into a 16 hour travel day, including a delay causing 2 missed flights, including the last flight of the day to my city. The later flight I was rebooked on for the second leg involved possibly the worst seat you could possibly get on a packed 777. 😜 I was just grateful I had a seat on a plane to Denver. 👍Mercifully, there's a van shuttle alternative that I was able to take and get home about midnight. I woke up too early yesterday as well, so by the time I got home, I'd been awake nearly 24 hours. 😴 In all those hours, there were no good opportunities for an actual meal, so I lived on snacks and the Biscoff cookies United passes out on flights ( found out they're vegan!) My luggage flew home without me, so I retrieved it this morning. At least it wasn't lost. 😉 But I'm HOME! Life is good! 😁 And the worst trips make the best stories, right? 🤣

writingwyo, that sounds a bit horrible. I'm happy you'll be able to relax now.

We actually ended up taking a nearly 6 mile and nearly 3 hour hike today. I felt better afterward, but now I'm in jammies before 5 p.m. and flat on the couch while hubby cooks dinner. Getting out in the woods did me a world of good, and hopefully I'll sleep well tonight 😴

'Nature is really important because it is a manifestation of love that hasn't been run through human minds.' My favorite Ram Dass quote
