It's been two weeks since I officially recorded a weigh in here... and that's not like me. But, my weight was intermittenly up during this time, and I REFUSED to record anything higher than the 145. So, I told myself I would keep working at it diligently until back to AT LEAST the 145 before I would weigh in again. (it took two weeks.) YIKES!

Will explain more in my next journal.

145.0 lb Lost so far: 60.0 lb.    Still to go: 10.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Paula- lol! I am doing the same thing right now. As soon as TOM leaves, I'll be OK but my last weight was 204 and I am up to 206 but I know it is just water weight so I am refusing to acknowledge it! Isn't that a great soping mechanism?

Paula - You just told us - you might just as well have recorded it! And the 10 lbs. pledge before Aug. 29th was a dead giveaway!

Buffy - LOL! You're right! Well, actually I was up over the 145 during this two weeks (up to 147.5) and then back down to the 145 again. Once it went to 146 I tried to reduce that number, but it kept creeping up, then creeped back down... during that two weeks. I just wouldn't record it - I told myself, I would record it when I got back to the 145, and I would be able to tell how long this ridiculous hiccup took. It took two weeks. NOW - on to the last 10 lbs!!!

Paula, been there myself....I went for over a month without recording, since I was not recording that number that had no basis in fact! It was the stupid scale gremlin! He hangs around and antagonizes me, and so I just ignore those numbers and don't record them. They belong to him, not me!! Glad to see that you are headed back down, though. I joined that challenge and am aiming for under 180 by the end of the summer. At the rate I have been losing, that seemed doable, but we shall see. Hope you have a great Sunday. Hugs!

just a note to say I'm sorry I haven't been around today - went for the home inspection - the cottage failed. unsound structurally - so unless we wanted to tear it down and start over...which we don't... it's out of the picture! Oh well, thank God he revealed this thru the home inspection and not after we were mortgaged and committed! Plus the bug leaves for Hawaii at 5:00am tomorrow morning - so I am helping him pack, and spending the evening w/ him and hubby before he goes. Will be back on tomorrow to tell you about how I am fixing my weightgain problems... very interesting!!!
