I'm always talking about yesterday aren't I? Well yesterday I had a high carb day, but low calories. It is like having my cake and eating it too. I substituted a meal for a dessert. I know that is not healthy eating, but I had the need to treat myself. I got in a lot of exercise, I walked all day with my grandkids at Silver Dollar City. It was their last big fling before school starts. There are lots of hills at SDC so I feel I accomplished a good day. I never once felt so tired that I had to stop and rest. Earlier this spring I would have to stop and rest halfway up one of the steepest inclines. I am proud of the weight I have lost and love my new look.
163.0 lb Lost so far: 38.0 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

1660 kcal Fat: 99.10g | Prot: 57.75g | Carb: 127.16g.   Breakfast: Morning coffee, McDonald's Fruit & Maple Oatmeal. Lunch: Baken-ets Traditional Fried Pork Skins. Dinner: Dorothy Lynch Home Style Dressing, Kentucky Kernel Seasoned Flour, Great Value Blue Cheese Dressing & Dip, Lettuce Salad with Assorted Vegetables, Chicken Thigh (Skin Not Eaten), Kirkwood Chicken Leg Quarters. Snacks/Other: Cream Cheese, Great Value Saltine Crackers, Jif Creamy Peanut Butter, Crystal Light Peach Sugar Free Iced Tea Mix. more...

Heloo, dear friend, I looked at your journal in the beginning of it. You lost 15 lb. in the 1st month!if not more. I am coming and going in circle at this time in my life for some reason....:-( Good for you. You are doing great. I wish I wer just under 190....for now. I need to get to 160-165 which is upper limit for my ideal weihgt for my height of 5'8" Take care. You are an inspiration. Thank you. Aurora

Congratulations for keeping up with the grandkids and joining them in their end of summer fling! The weight loss makes the health so much better.
