I haven't used this site in some time! I got an email saying someone new was following me so I logged in to see what's what. I will change my bio, but, times have changed a bit. I tried intermittent fasting until pandemic and 100% working from home and living with my in-laws made that almost impossible. I tried Noom and learned a lot but, also, did not stick with it. I started Bright Line Eating, by Susan Pierce Thompson on April 25, 2022. I'm choosing to believe this will be different and effective. I'm cutting out all refined sugar and sugar substitutes, and flour. I love the food I'm eating, I've struggled with withdrawal symptoms. I'm still trying to manage my time and resources to make it work. I do miss some foods that are not on this plan, but by and large, I'm satisfied.

I've not heard of Bright Line Eating. Cutting sugar and flour kind of sound like the low carb I try to follow. No rice or potatoes for me in addition to the pasta. Meat and veggies and nuts and seeds for snacking. Good luck!

Thanks, everyone, for checking in with me! @rhontique, I eat "grains", but only at breakfast. Potatoes and rice count as a grain on this plan. No pasta, though, as that is made with flour. I know some people who are following Bright Line Eating have found flour-substitute pasta. I'm choosing to stay away from it because I find it's very difficult for me to eat anything that resembles pasta, in moderation. Also, I do not snack. I have 3 meals a day.
