Since I started working longer hours I am so afraid my diet is going to suffer. I am now skipping meals which I have not done since I started my diet. I hope this does not mess with my metabolism. My luck it will. :-(

Hi gspeach, I would suggest you try and prepare on Saturday or Sunday for your meals. I know it is hard but that might help you stay on track. You don't want to go backwards and you have accomplished such great success. I am happy for you. I also suffer with OCD and am dealing with health issues, along with weight. How did you get such weight loss results with your own diet, by the way?

Hi TexasGranny, I will try doing that but it is hard for me to plan anything in advance. I think my biggest problem is that I always had an eating disorder when I was younger. But then I only eat when I get hungry and I have noticed it doesn't matter what time it is and I eat something light and simple even at midnight I lose more weight on those days than any other. LOL I started last year just making small changes. I went back to Florida to be with my daughter. While I was in Florida I was making small changes to how I was eating. I stopped emotional eating and only eating when I was hungry. When I came back home 3 months later I went from 248 to 224. This is where it began. I maintained that weight from July to January when I went to the doctor for the first time in years. I was put on water pills for my blood pressure and the rest is history. My husband who is a major food pusher was really surprised to see how good I was doing. He now no longer pushes food at me and when I am having weak moments gets all his junk food and hides it for me. LOL I know when I go back to Florida to spend some time with my daughter I will start to lose more weight. I just wish my husband would stop asking me to bake for him. He doesn't understand how important this is to me and how selfish he is being. But then if I could make it through the holidays and not gain any weight at all (BTW not on a actual diet) eating what I wanted just in moderation. This was a neat trick... Sorry I was long winded. Have a great day.
