I have no idea how I did not gain weight this past weekend. I must be sick or something. I did not exercise, I had hamburgers galore and over 5 hotdogs over the course of the weekend. The only thing I can think of that I did different was breakfast which knowing that I was going to have a hamburger feast, I only had a protein shake for breakfast every day for the past 3 days and at night a cleanse shake (kale, cilantro, spinach, coconut water, green apple, ginger) but the rest of my meals were ATROCIOUS, I think I even recall having some BBQ ribs but my memory is a bit foggy if you know what I mean :) which bring me to the next sin, I also had more liquor than usual.

Long story short when I stepped on the scale today and saw no weight gain I almost fell of the scale. I have to research this further because I seriously think I may be sick. lol. Have an awesome week everyone!

good for you! do you have a cleanse shake every night or just when you have been eating bad? I haven't gotten into them but I am curious...

Honestly, I didn't get into the shakes thinking it would help with my weight. I have a friend who bought the ninja blender and told us about this shake and how much energy it gave him and how he was feeling that it really detoxified his system so I decided to try it just to detox a bit, not thinking it would have any effect on my weight, so he says that he does it once a week but since I'm usually running around I find that it's a good meal replacement when I don't have time to eat...if you think about it is like having a salad in a bottle :) so sometimes I have it for breakfast, and sometimes at night when I don't have time for dinner but I never have it on weekends because I'm usually out eating all kinds of wrong things but this weekend I had the shake in addition to that other junk I ate and it seemed to have worked on my weight. I ate horribly bad but not all three meals were bad, I had the shake for breakfast, then I pigged out on those burgers and hotdogs and didn't have dinner and the following date I had the shakes during the day and had a huge hamburger dinner so go figure. I don't drink them consistently at all but it seems to have worked. I don't know, I'll have to do it all over again to confirm ;)
