Its really strange. I weighted in today with Weight Watchers and went down 1/2 pound from last weeks weigh in and a note popped up that they thought I was losing weight too fast and I should try and slow it down and pace my weight lost. Im sorry I have lost 9 1/2 pounds since I started it 12 weeks ago (for the 3rd time) and I don't consider that losing weight too fast. It just makes me glad I have found this website with people that understand and support me in what I am doing. This is the third time I have tried the weight watchers program and I think when my 3 months are up Im gonna drop it for good and track myself thru here. I know people have lost hundreds of pounds on ww and its the top rated program but I guess its just me but I just dont seem to get it.

I don't know anything about weight watchers but 1/2 lb a week loss isn't excessive.

they say anything over 2 pounds a week is too much. The ideal number is 1 pound a week. You are fine. Don't let them stop or slow the motivation train if it's moving along. Keep it up.

I agree with Alex, I have always heard if you do a 1500-1700 calorie a day diet depending on your activity level you should lose 1-2lbs a week

FS RDI is high, though the rest of the program is great. I suggest going to calculator.net and checking out a better RDI and keeping your cals under that ceiling. I don't know much about Weight Watchers but this site has worked great for me. A half a pound a week certainly doesn't sound like too much to me, thoough some would be better than none. At first I was too shy to show my stats on this site, now I find the support and some of the advice really helps. Good Luck!

That is just something that pops up for liability reasons. It doesn't mean you are losing too fast. They have to do it to cover themselves legally. WW is not a fast weight loss program (although some do lose fast), but more a sustainable long term program. I follow on their site and on here. Tracking points is like tracking calories to me ( I do both), so it's no big deal to me. It's all about eating less and moving more. You just gotta find what works for you and is sustainable.
