i guess the amish eating wasn't too bad. i ate very well since i've been back. yesterday i hardly ate at all, but it seems the choices i made weren't the best because i still ate almost all my calories.

i just realized that this weigh in is one day early. my husband is now unemployed, and i am having a terrible time keeping track of the days. fortunately, he got a new job and starts on july 1. it's been nice having him around the house. i thought he would drive me crazy, but it has been nice.

we are going to go out to lunch several places next week for his last week home. i'm sure i can make better decisions. we are also going to the art museums (contemporary and regular). i am going to go back to the pool, since i didn't go this week because i was out of town. i'm not sure i'm getting my money's worth with this gym membership. basically i just go to the pool. and now i'm doing it twice a week is all. i think you can buy coupons to pay for the pool each time you go, but i'm afraid if i do that there won't be parking included.

i hope all of you are having a great weekend. it looks like the sun is finally coming out here.

My husband and son drive Ohio Amish for a living. My DH is in Indiana now and DS just got back from New York. Amish food is amazing but not the healthiest. Swimming is great exercise.

the food was good, but i felt like i was getting fatter by the minute. i absolutely had to have pie. where do they drive the amish to? i'm actually doing arthritis water aerobics. it's not very aerobic, but it's something. i think swimming is too hard for me right now, and i can't push myself too hard. i have fibromyalgia, and if i push too hard, i will be in a lot of pain.

Good job with the weight loss! Good luck with ignoring that pie that Is For Your Husband!

Sounds like a nice mini vaca week you'll both have. I'm bit jealous about the museums.

Amish desserts are to die for! My guys drive them all over the country. Really busy in summer. Lots of weddings, vacations, funeral etc.

yes, the amish desserts are quite good. i absolutely could not resist pie while i was there, but i hope i can resist the one i brought home for my husband. the one i had was so very good! totally worth the calories.
